Lauro Soto | 4 comments Hello all this is just a "looking for Book" topic SORRY if this is on the wrong section (if a mod check this post please move it )

My question is does anyone know of a book with a Aasimar ( or similar heaven/good/celestial descendant) MC , i usually play with those on game like NWN or BaldursGate even Pathfinder so i would like to see them in action :)

Keep in mind that i type "played" as in the PC Games not the Tabletop games, but usually i player as Aasimar Paladin i think one of the books i have read or close to it is Ordination (The Paladin Trilogy, #1) by Daniel M. Ford

Anyway thanks hopefully someone can help me

Andrea | 3465 comments I'm not familiar with the term aasimar, would that be any kind of offspring of a deity type being? Like a demi-god (say Hercules whose father was Zeus) or the nephilim (human/angel)

Andrea | 3465 comments I was going to suggest Rick Riordan's books even though they are for middle grade readers, but they aren't inherently good, in fact the Greek gods tend to be full of human faults :)

But looking through the books I shelved on the topic, there is the Belgariad David Eddings with Pawn of Prophecy being the first book which has a very distinctly good main character, and he's up against no less than an evil god.
