There was this book and it had a boy and a girl; they might’ve been brother and sister. Well in their world there was this game and it was like a simulator but I think children actually started to die in it when you died in the game. The leader or whatever is this really old guy who took these immortality pills but he was still really old he just didn’t die. And at one point there was this monkey with the girl. And one time the boy got in trouble at school and had to stay at home and go through this giant bottle of beads and sort them out. I’ve been thinking about this book for like 5 years something help me lol. And there might’ve been a sequel with it but I can’t remember.
