Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? While reading this I wondered who wrote what parts. For this book, I thought maybe one wrote Jessica's parts and one wrote Dr. Shield's, but I wasn't sure.
Would you recommend? Definitely! I did read The Wife Between Us as well, but did not like it as much as this one.

Would you recommend? Yes, I liked it.

Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? I would not have known, and after I finished the book I looked into it and it seems the two authors write every line together! Sounds very fun.
Would you recommend? I liked it, it wasn't my FAVORITE but it held my attention!

I thought it flowed very smoothly, and I don't think I would have known it was two different people writing it if I wasn't aware of that fact from the beginning. I would recommend this to anyone who loves plot twists! I literally said OMG out loud a few times!

Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? This essay collection is based on columns they wrote and the author of each one is clearly identified, so it is very easy to determine when the author changes. If the essays hadn't been labeled, you'd still be able to determine who wrote which one since they each have a distinct writing style, and are at two different points in their lives, which is reflected in their essays. I like how I can relate to both of them since I fall in between them age-wise.
Would you recommend? Yes! I've enjoyed their past collections and found this one to be a perfect summer read. It was just the right pick when I picked it up last month.

Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? I honestly don't think I would have known if there weren't two authors listed. Although it did seem slightly different than the general MHC formula.
Would you recommend? I would if you like Mary Higgins Clark. If not, then no.

I don't think I would have guessed it was a collaboration. It didn't read like a usual Jodi Picoult book, maybe it was a lot of influence from her daughter. It was a cute story. I would recommend it if you like YA or even Middle Grade books.

Thus far I have read
(1) Sorcery & Cecelia: or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot which I liked. It was just okay for me.
(2) When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir. This book! Every single person, especially those living in the US and those who identify as "white" should read this book. I venture to say the majority of us on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ simply have no idea. None...
(3) I will be reading The Wife Between Us for this month's discussion.

Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? I wouldn't have known that it was written by two authors, the writing style was seamless.

Would you recommend? It was a quick read, not a challenging read, I'd recommend it for a holiday read or a quick read.

Could you tell two authors were writing: in a way. I don’t want to spoil anything but the structure of the writing lent itself to two authors.
Would you recommend: I would. I enjoyed it even if it wasn’t the most original premise I’ve ever read. It was still engaging and had a couple of good twists.

Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? The parts for the two characters had a stark difference which made sense given that the characters are quite different. However, had I been told the same person wrote it, I would nothave doubted it much.
Would you recommend? Definitely. I loved this book!

Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? Couldn't say. The different pov's confused me.

Would you recommend? Yes.

Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? I never noticed two different voices. It blended well.

Would you recommend? Yes, I enjoyed the book quite a bit.

Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? It did not ever feel like there were two distinct authors; perhaps some of the red herrings thrown into the story and never addressed were caused by it, or maybe that was all a part of the master plan to keep everyone guessing just as the characters were always guessing, but I only knew there were two authors because I knew not because it felt that way

Would you recommend? Yes, I definitely would recommend it

I wouldn't know this was written by a writing duo. Considering this writing duo has wrote many books before this one, it should come across as one voice.
Would you recommend?
This was a fun light read that I would recommend if you like the chic lit genre. I liked this book enough to read other books by them, but this was the best book out of their books in my opinion.

Author: edited by Andrew Gulli but it was written by 26 mystery authors including these women Sandra Brown, Diana Gabaldon Tess Gerritsen J.A. Jance Faye Kellerman,
Gayle Lynds Kathy Reichs Lisa Scottoline Marcia Talley &Lori G. Armstrong

Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? It was fairly cohesive but yes you could probably have told some of the switches even if they hadn't been listed out at each chapter.

Would you recommend? Honestly no, for being written by two dozen of the best in the genre it wasn't that inventive or exciting which was just sad.

Did the writing seem like two different voices, or would you never know that there were two authors? I came to the conclusion that one of them was writing Nellie and the other Vanessa (Like in Will Grayson, Will Grayson), and then later that one was writing the past events and one the current ones. But that might be completely wrong.

Would you recommend? Yes.

For the most part no. There are some turns of phrase that only MHC uses, and these stuck out for me. Otherwise, the writing is pretty seamless.
Would you recommend?
Yes, if you like a light suspense novel, and if you like Mary Higgins Clark. I mostly prefer much darker, grittier police procedurals or psychological horror, so this isn't my usual fare. I do like Alafair Burke, so I gave it a try, and it was better than I expected.

Would you recommend? As a fun, fluffy read: Yes. It wasn't anything groundbreaking, but I read it really quickly, I laughed and I'm interested to read other books by these authors.
