Over in a Flash ~ Cover Hunt & Theme Challenge ~

Duration: October 1st through 31st, 2014.

Rules: Choose at least two (2) of the three (3) options below. (Meaning minimum of two books.) Color may be the predominant color of the book, or a “pop� of color that catches your eye. Holidays are explained. Items may be found on the cover, or the word found within the storyline.

Please feel free to post your book covers, dates read, and star ratings.

You may join at any time during the month. Feel free to do all three, or more, if you want.

Member Choosing: ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) has been a GoodReads member since March, 2009 and a participant of Happily Ever After Café since May, 2013. Her favorite genres are: Mystery/Thrillers, Contemporary Romance (comedic or suspenseful), and Contemporary YA. Favorite authors include Michael Connelly, Jennifer Crusie, Karin Slaughter, and A.S. King. She loves Halloween and her all-time favorite costume is a witch. She also, coincidentally, has three black cats. She loves playing board games with her son and husband. Her favorite baked good is either homemade muffins or almost any kind of cookie or fudgy, chewy brownies (She’ll take the corners!)

(4) Crime Prevention Month: {October} Read a Mystery/Crime novel or a book about a cop, FBI agent, CIA agent, Interpol, etc. (5) Fire Prevention Month: {October} Read about a fire-fighter, or a book where fire plays an important role.

ITEMS: October’s Birthstones are Tourmaline and Opal. Its flower is the Calendula (marigold). Zodiac Signs are Virgo and Libra. Other items are sunflower, apple, pumpkin, black cat (or any cat will do), creepy/spooky cover, book on the cover, fire, handcuffs, uniform, library, a smiling face, or a witch.

does the mystery/crime thriller have to be about a policeman? or can it b e about FBI/CIA agent?

Since I am a libra I feel responsible too. Not trying to get out of reading books....trust me that's not where my heart lies.... but some of our autumn books fit this category too. Do you want them separate or can someone use the same twice?
