Lucy | 285 comments Mine is 110 percent the graveyard book. My Dad read it to me when I was young. I can’t remember much about it, but I know either my Dad or I. Or both of us cried. I’m planning to read more Neil Gaiman books, staring with Coraline.

Now time to share your favourite, stand-alone books!

*❆ Kαɾҽɳ ❆* Mine has to be The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton
the story is told by 3 different people across 100 years. And it all just connects so well together. the mystery of a garden, of a lost girl and of a mansion and what happens to the people who lived there .
Its such a beautiful tale haha

I try to read it at least once a year. And I read this when i was 14. And fell in love with it

*❆ Kαɾҽɳ ❆* I'm currently reading Odd and the Frost Giants by Neil gaimen and I love it !

Lucy | 285 comments Wow Karen, I would like to pick that book up!

Yay! I’m so glad you’re enjoying odd and the frost giants. My Dad read that book to me when I was young. I’m planning to re-read his books. As I said before.

Christine Hatfield (christinesbookshelves) | 386 comments Yeah it is great Karen and the reason why I loved reading that book was because the character in the book reminded me of me because her whole medical problem was similar to mine and yeah it is awesome Lucy and I read the book and I watched the movie

*❆ Kαɾҽɳ ❆* Oh so you have a strong connection to her. That's great, I love jt when authors are able to create relatable characters
