Already picked up my copy at Smashwords. It's refreshing to read a screenplay, about 2/3 of the way through it at the moment.
Well done, mo chara. Expect a review over this weekend.

I thought you might be interested, Daniel, as you recently published a screenplay. It's a format I like because, with a bit of thought on the structure of your story, and a smidgen of hard work to prune it only to inessentials (a screenplay usually runs to about 30% of the event-count of a novel so you need to torque the action down hard), you can tell your story very crisply indeed, no wasted motion on long descriptions or moving the characters about. Looking forward to the review.

Or going three pages of why the hug meant so much, with enough metaphors to force a Klingon to kill himself.
On screen, with the skill of the actors, that emotion is relayed visually, and it's something the director can work on while guys like us work on the next story. ^_^
Plus, having done 28 professional stage productions in various roles in my early years has added a smidgen of fun to the motivation to write screenplays.
The other day at a political meeting here in OKC, I mentioned I am a lifelong Thespian. About 30 people thought I said lesbian, but they calmed down when I explained who Thespis was. I think somewhere in the world, old textbooks that used to teach this stuff rolled over in their graves fast enough to churn the red sea into buttermilk.

The moment the screenplay is attached to your ŷ Book List, let me know in a PM, and I'll post it there too.
Nicely done. ^_^
That's an outstanding review, Daniel, all the better for including the technical and structural sidenotes that only an old thespian would notice, but that are very important to those interested in screenplays for more than literary entertainment. Nothing makes me happier than giving a reader a belly-laugh!d Thank you so much, man.
