Good Lord, this book has all the feels. I cried. It was super hard to read at times, and should probably have a trigger warning in the description. We finally get Z's story, and his HFN. It was very satisfying!

The Sea of Monsters
Once again Rick Riordan delivers. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how the MCs get into (and out of) all these wild adventures and learn about themselves and each other. Plus all the mythology does it for me. These books are most definitely for all ages and I highly recommend them to everyone. I’ll be visiting Percy and his friends again very soon.

I absolutely love it when I stumble across a book that grabs and keeps my attention. It actually kept me from watching my Korean dramas and those things are CRAZY addictive. I love how much of a klutz Willa is and I’m very eager to see what she gets caught up in next. I may have to add these authors to my list of must-reads. Especially if book 2 is as good as this was.

Such a great read! I had this sitting in my virtual library for a few years now just gathering “dust and I wish I’d read it earlier. I absolutely LOVE Janie and her ability to spew trivial information. And Quinn... man... I’d love to get one of him for myself... whew!! Also the ladies in her knitting group are simply amazing. I need to see if I can find a knitting group like them.
I’ll definitely be checking out the rest of this series. I hope they’re all as good a this one is.

This one’s been hiding in my kindle library for 4 years now. It’s time to dust it off. Especially since the rest of the series seems to be on KU.

This is the 1st in The Dark Artifices series and is set about 5 years after the events in City of Heavenly Fire. I absolutely loved The Mortal Instruments series and the prequel series Infernal Devices so I was a little apprehensive about this one however I really enjoyed this. Emma is a strong heroine with plenty of sass and Julian her parabatai is remarkable. We meet lots of characters that will no doubt play a significant part at a later stage. The plot line is good with plenty of action, twists and turns and a mystery to unravel. I’ll definitely be reading the next in the series.

Kick Ass Heroine? I don't really think so. Sweet, with a touch of sass? Sure. Stands up for herself? Definitely. But in my mind, Kick Ass implies the ability to actually . . . Kick Ass. Luckily I didn't really expect that, so I enjoyed Daphne Bridgerton immensely. I had never read any of the Bridgertons, but had encountered some of them in the Smith-Smythe books. I'm not sure why I always let so much time go in between Julia Quinn's books.

Kade’s Dark Embrace
This was not a good one for me. I absolutely love PNR but, I couldn’t get into this one at all. The plot itself is excellent. It made me want to read the story. However, the story itself didn’t have the flow that it needed to really grip me and hold me until the last page. The conversations between the characters especially turned me off. It was entirely too rigid and made reading a bit painful for me. Even the internal dialogues felt that way.
Even though the plot summaries sound really interesting, I will not be continuing this series.

I really enjoyed this book we see more into Lisbeth’s character as she continues to foil the system. A kick- ass heroine who uses whatever is necessary to ensure her own brand of justice is dealt out. Looking forward to #3.

I can’t get enough of this series. This one is the story of Murhder and Sarah and their struggle to overcome the demons of their past to find a future. We get to see more of John and Xhex in this one and see a bit of their past. This is definitely one series you have to go through in order as the foundations for some of the storylines are laid in previous ones. Can’t believe I have to wait until next March for the next one ☹️

I'm loving this series! The story of Butch and Marissa is a sad journey to a happy ending. I would have said it was hard to read, if I hadn't just read Z's story. I'm looking forward to where Butch's new abilities will take the story, and I really want V to get his mate! On to the next one!

Sadie Moss does it again! With every series of hers I read I get a little more hooked on her writing. This story of a parallel world, with magic, and the girl who gets dragged into someone else's life, is riveting. I can't wait to start the next installment, and I'm sad the third doesn't come out until December.

This was a pretty good start to the series and while I did enjoy it, I would have preferred if it burned slower. It was faster than medium-burn but not quite insta-love. With the personalities in the group, I’d have liked to see a bit more struggle when it came to feelings. Other than that, I thought it was very well written and will definitely be continuing the series.

This was an enjoyable if rather predictable Read. Take one heroine who is the rightful heir to the throne who is on the run from her brother who having killed their father is hunting her. Take one unlikely hero with a hidden past and is constantly saving our heroine. Mix in a bag of supernatural misfits you have a general plot. My biggest problem with this was the time discrepancies, the author couldn’t seem to make up her mind how long had passed. This isn’t a series I’ll be rushing to continue.

I really enjoyed this and can understand the fascination with the series. The characters were strong and well-rounded and the plot moved along quickly. There was also a good mix of fantasy romance and mystery with enough unanswered questions to pick up the next book.
