Global Domination for Beginners by Will Once.

I just finished this book. Surprisingly pleasant, even though the humor is "Brit humor", which usually goes over my head. But I caught most of it in this delightful "read".

Started to read Truth Insurrected: The Saint Mary Project but I have a neck strain. I will have to wait and continue when I can read more than a few pages at a time. :(

Currently reading Foucault's Pendulum. A long, slow read, and now more than halfway through.

Currently reading Inside Deaf Culture in print and Slave and Sister on Kindle.

I don't mind large books, but I don't much like "slow" books, especially if they "plod". Like Bored of the Rings.

Reading a manuscript for a friend. It put me to sleep in my recliner last night. I don't know if it was me or the book (I suspect the latter). We'll see.

Edge of Eternity, Ken Follet's third in his trilogy about the twentieth century. It is also quite long, as were the first two, but it is not slow in any way.

The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane - Recently met the author, Katherine Howe in Salem during her book debut (for The Penguin Book of Witches) and got my signed copy! I've just started it, and it's pulling me in.

Just finished Sinister which is a YA book, somewhere on the lines of Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl and Curveball which is a romance novel but with an amazing twist. Had fun with both.

Whistlin' Dixie - A Tempered Steel Novel is a beautiful love story, first in the series of books. If you like to read love stories pertaining to one family, then this one is for you. Check my review of Whistlin' Dixie and let me know how you find it.

Another one is a tremendous book, one I would love to spread word across the globe if possible. The Dream Shelf is also a love story. But the love story here is of a child to their parent. I'm currently readingThe World Unseen by Shamim Sarif. It takes place in apartheid South Africa and deals with forbidden relationships. It's definitely going on my list of top reads for 2014.

"Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul" - I usually have a Chicken Soup book going. Great short stories for quick reading.

I am currently reading "'Tis" by Frank McCourt. Reminding me why I love his writing style so much.

I'm in the last stages of editing my current work in progress, and as a result I plan to start reading The Earl of Brass by Kara Jorgensen in the next week or so.

Check out Stories On The Go, an anthology of 101 short stories by indie authors from Writers' Café in every genre imaginable. I wrote #14 which is a sweet love story.

Just finished Ishmael Beah's A Long Way Gone (become my friend and read my review) and am starting Edmund de Waal's The Hare with Amber Eyes. Both books are for book clubs. I'm also reading a biography of Menachem Begin.

I'm a Titanic buff, and right now I'm reading a book titled "101 Things You Thought You Knew About the Titanic, But Didn't!" It goes through 101 myths/truths about things concerning the Titanic disaster, and sets the record straight on what's true and what's false. Tim Maltin authors this book. I'm loving it so far.

Just finished by Ginger Galloway. Just started for the third time. I need it for research - how fortunate. :)

I've just finished reading Corridors of my Mind. It was a dark, beautiful poetic journey of one woman's pain. I highly recommend it to poetry lovers.

Life or Death isn't a question. And it it's not a choice that has to be made, thought out, considered or debated. It is just a reaction; a human instinctual reflective action to survive at all costs, and to hold onto a sliver of hope even when there is none.
Michael Robotham gets it, writes it and presents the story of Audie Palmer living life while death hunts him down with the same, single-minded determination as a locked-in heat seeking missile.
Life or Death is one of the best thrill rides out there.
I finished it last night. 5 stars. Brilliant writing!

Giving Divergent a try. So far I'm liking the writing style.

I am currently enjoying Puss N Cahoots by Rita Mae Brown.

For now I'm enjoying being "In the bed of a Duke" ;)

I just started Cinder, by Marissa Meyer. Very interesting story. I can see more reality in this as I age and watch those around me receive knee, and joint replacements.

I just finished Dracula. Lately, I've been wanting to read classics.

Finally reading 'Game of Thrones.' It was a little confusing at first with all the characters, but now I'm really enjoying it.
