I think they're really good Sara! There is a ton of action, even in the last book. And for me writing has to be just right to get my imagination going for visuals and these books do not disappoint. I also wasn't sure how the predictability would be as the series is based on Dr. Moreau's Island, but these are definitely their own story.

I'll have to check them out!

I read that Areeba! I thought it wasn't bad! I listened to the audio book. Loved the narrators voice.

I need to read the second one too (Lockwood a& Co)- and it looks like the third comes out this year :)

And yes, it's a great series (ToG). I'm about 1/4 through the second book, Crown of Midnight and it's so good.

message 49: by Brie (new)

Brie | 569 comments The Night Circus is such a great book! I absolutely loved it and was so sad she didn't write anymore like it. BUT there is a movie in the works I hear!

message 50: by Brandy (new)

Brandy | 2535 comments I am reading The Devil Wears Prada. I have found an unusual occurrence. I actually like the movie better! I will be finishing that up today, but hope to get in one more book before the BOTM begins. Decisions decisions on what to read (or listen to) next.

On another note I have been able to get my hands on 3 out of the five books for April.
