The date is November 2019.

The place, a California ruled by amoral tech billionaires.

Please report any suspicious persons to your local bladerunner so they can be given the Voight-Kampf test to determine their humanity.

I'm suspicious of Trike :-? A Tricycle is a machine after all.

My Result:
You are 29% likely to be a replicant.

I think therefore I am. Poetic, but do you really understand it? Those memories could be implanted. They taunt. Painful to live in fear, isn't it?

Then again I would fake a low score if I was ;-)

I’ve... seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Trick-or-treaters dressed as pirates. I watched high beams on the highway illuminate tiny dancers. All those things will be rung like a bell. Time to ride. *jing-jing*

Trike | 10984 comments 39%

Viola | 188 comments You are 11% likely to be a replicant.

You may have once sought another skin, but your choices betray someone unavoidably, irretrievably human. A new life awaits you in the off-world colonies.

As a child from the 60s, the future has been less futuristic that I'd have thought. But when you see Blade Runner and Terminator, maybe it's good we dialed it back a bit ;-)

Nice homage to Rutger. It is poignant that he passed away in the same year as Roy :-(

Of course the internet has made up one test:

Me? Still human.

Mark (markmtz) | 2810 comments 32% on the first test and human on the second test. I guess that's a good thing?

Trike | 10984 comments BTW, the events of Akira also take place in 2019.

Mark (markmtz) | 2810 comments Has anyone read the Bladerunner sequels by K.W. Jeter? Are they worth investigating?

apparently the first test says I'm 46% likely to be a replicant.

But the second test said I'm Human. So who really knows?
