Liz M 10.1 - Square Peg: Read a book that does not fit any of the other Reading with Style 10 or 20-point tasks. This task cannot be repeated.

10.2 - Nutcracker: In celebration of Trepak (Russian Dance) from The Nutcracker, which had it's first full-length staging outside of Russia in England in 1934, read a book set in (75%) Russia or a former Soviet Republic.

10.3 - 1980s: In honor of The Polar Express, read one of the 300 Best Books of the 1980s.

Liz M The inaugural season of RwS was Winter 2009/10. In celebration of our 5th anniversary, we are basing 20-point tasks on the first 5 books ever posted.

20.1 - RwS Anniversary!: The first 5 books claimed in our inaugural season, winter 2009/10, were penned by authors born from 1906 to 1951. Read a book published 1906-1951.

20.2 - Persephone: In honor of Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day, read a book written by a .

20.3 - Historical: In honor of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, read one of the top 200 titles on the list of Best Historical Fiction Books that Are Actually Historical Fiction.

20.4 - 1001: In honor of Almost Transparent Blue, Read a book from published in the 1900s.

20.5 - Mystery Women: In honor of The Moai Murders, read a book by one of these AND whose protagonist/narrator is female.

20.6 - Jewish: In honor of Day After Night, read a book that has been shelved at least 10 times as Jewish.

20.7 - 18th Century Plus - Ashley's Task:
Read a book published during the long eighteenth-century (1688-1815) or a nonfiction book about the Restoration or Eighteenth-Century.

20.8 - Exiles and Emmigrants - Jama's Task:
Read a book written by an author who has more or less permanently settled in a country other than his/her homeland (the country of his/her original citizenship). Or read a fiction or non-fiction account of an immigrant or political exile's experiences.

20.9 - Respect Elders - Kate S's Task:
Read a book by an author who lived at least 80 years. For example, Graham Greene, Doris Lessing, Alison Lurie, and Herman Wouk.
