You are not alone. And sometimes I think I own a book and I don't or sometimes I buy a book only to find out I already own it.
All the time! I know I read The Grass is Singing in 1962, my first year at university, but I am almost sure I have re-read it since being in this group - but I have no record of the second read! As I am hardly reading anything at the moment I may not get to the Levi.
And I can't find he Drowned and the Saved anywhere - except for expensive second hand copies from Amazon in the U.S. As I have read the Stendahl I have ordered it anyway - reluctantly.

Welcome! Among other things, Better World Books works with libraries helping to sell decommissioned books, so frequently I can find an obscure work that can't be found elsewhere. Better World Books also lists on Abebooks if you need to search with a wider reach.
I like that they donate a book to literacy projects for each book purchased. :)

They've had a warehouse in Scotland and U. K. website for about 10 yrs in addition to their two in the U. S. I can't vouch for them shipping free worldwide though. Can anyone else confirm that?

They seem to. I think every book I ever got from them has been free shipping and they have come from UK sometimes.
