Kara (karaayako) | 3984 comments Below are December's twins. There weren't as many newbies as usual, so there are a couple of stretches in here. If you and your twin don't have any books in common, I recommend perusing each other's to-read lists to find something that looks interesting to you. Hope it works out!

Please reach out to your twin to decide on what to read. Once you decide, post it here, and then come back when you've finished to let us know what you thought of it.

If you message your twin and don't hear back at all, please let me know.

Sherry (lilsherry) | 721 comments So Fiona and I finished My Soul to Take(Soul Screamers #1) by Rachel Vincent.

It took Fiona a bit to finish as she was struggling with it in the beginning of the book (it didn't interest her enough yet) while she balance her time with her family. I finished it quicker because I was excited to finally get to this as it has been on my TBR pile for the longest time.

The plot was abit slow in the beginning (like some books where it introduces the readers and give some backstory). But it has such twist and turns that the readers are not expecting at all! It has such an interesting concept: main character screams bloody murder when she senses someone near her will die. She has the urge to scream so loud and strong when people started dying around her that she started thinking she is crazy. All she want is a normal high school life instead of freaking out and scream. Then the hottest guy in school seems to know her secret and more... Her relationship with that guy is fun to watch as he have his own secret... I can't wait to pick up the next book My Soul to Save.

Fiona did thought that they could have added a bit more to certain characters. I kind of agree with her but maybe they will in the rest of the series. Only one way to find out ^^! We both will be continuing this series.

Tawallah | 199 comments I was able to finish only one book and didn't hear from my buddy.

I enjoyed Code Name Verity (Code Name Verity, #1) by Elizabeth Wein , it was an unexpected great read. The first part was difficult to get into at first. I find it hard to say why- the writing style plus the situation being covered. But it got better as it went on. I enjoyed the mystery to it, you need to read to catch the clues. If you listen on audio you miss these clues. The second part was easier read and explained what happened in the first part.

I definitely recommend this WWII story- it is worth the hype.
