Ok so I think I can claim the "circle" task with my current read:

There are two circles on the cover :-)

It also works for plenty of the words, such as touch, just to name one of them.

A murder at the vicarage will work for airtight - Miss Marple obviously produces an airtight case!

The Power will work for a variety of things - lady, electric and touch spring to mind so far.

What do you think of the book so far? I'll have to eventually get back to it in order to finish it.

I'm only a couple of chapters in so the jury is still out. My library copy came free so waiting isn't an option unfortunately

Can also be used for sharp on the mini challenge due to one of the characters tires being popped by a sharp Japanese paper knife.

I'm 50% through The Power. Not entirely grabbed by it, but not struggling through either. If there hadn't been so much hype I might be enjoying it more.

It's been surprisingly dry this weekend, despite the rain they've announced for today. So I've been out for a while this morning, hiding books in a few book cabins over the countryside.

Yesterday I spent reading and doing a few chores. I'll do some washing today and spend the rest of the day reading as well. Just a chill weekend.

It's been raining solidly here since yesterday mid-afternoon. Having the MiL staying at least means I don't have a feral toddler. Sounds like you've had a lovely morning.

We've managed to board our attic for storage and I've got a bit of studying done.

Have just popped a tray if cupcakes in the oven as well. Will try and think about the galactic creme brulee recipe later on

HELP!

Hiya team! Really struggling with this book..



But it can cover (Hand 3) Draw 2, 3 and Wild, if I keep going honestly it'll probably be the only book I'll read for the rest of the month.. I can do that to get them Cards covered or I'll scrap it and cover some other Cards..

Question is; what would you all prefer? I don't mind either way, but as I say if I keep going with this, most likely the last book I can do this month.

Can anyone else cover those cards?

Any book that works to cover a 3 can cover all those cards so please don't worry about it. If you aren't enjoying it, I'd say ditch it and find something you do enjoy.

Would you guys like to bake a cake? Cookies? Make an extra special crème brûlée? Maybe something savoury instead? Maybe you have a completely different idea?

(PS: No, we don't actually have to make this and provide photographic evidence haha.)

Given it's a recipe for our team name I'd lean towards a creme brulee that is out of this world!

And it'd be easy enough actually.

The sugar that goes on top just needs a little food colouring and then you could easily (I assume haha) create a galactic / nebula effect.
