Caroline, there isn’t any perfect solution. Try accepting her and maybe go along with her being your friend. Who knows? She might act want to be your friend. If you don’t feel comfortable and think it is a trick, try asking her straight up. Just ask why she wants to be your friend and if she is being truthful. I hope this helps! Good luck! She may or may not have a motivation to be doing this, I'm really cautious about stuff like that, but I'm not trying to be rude. I'd say that you just stick with your real friends. If she keeps doing it and it makes you uncomfortable, tell her! Maybe that's why she's doing it...but I wouldn't think so. And if you feel shes changed, then try and put the past behind and become friends. Some people who have 'hated' each other in the past have become the best of friends!
Yes, you know, some people prefer having less friends, but them being meaningful, then have tons of friends who they don't even know (This isnt about anyone specific just in general)
