I'll start

1.Thalia was lying on terrace of her house counting the stars and studying constellations.
2.The silence of the night shrouded her in a familiar and warm embrace.
3. Suddenly a high pitched scream rudely shredded the cloak of silence filling the night with an air of mystery.

4. She leaned over the banister, hoping to find some clues on the origin of the noise, but the night was not giving up it's secrets easily.
5. After a while, just when she was going to give up and go back inside, she glimpsed something from the corner of her eye.
6. It was moving fast.

7. Whatever it was, it wasn't human or canine.
8. Adrenaline flooded her as she barely stopped herself from soiling herself, and she thought back to what Astrid had told her, although she hadn't believed her at the time.
9. Aliens really had arrived, and they could be deadly.
