Interested in playing?
Tell us:
How many books you read per month (more than 100 pages)
The continent you live in (so we can try and match time zones)
Would you be willing to be a Team Captain? Or Co-Captain?

***
Captain's Duties
â— Every month when the team gets their monthly UNO hands the Captain will need to work with the team to create a plan for how to read the hands.
â— We would expect the captains to track the teams books (tip: Google spreadsheets are very useful to do this!)
â— At the end of each month the Captain will need to check their teams books are marked as "read" and meet the page counts and submit their team's info to the moderator to have points confirmed

Signups will be recorded on please check your details and let us know if anything is incorrect

Elizabeth Armstrong | 27 comments This sounds fun.

I spend about 2 hours a day commuting so I’m always looking for new things to read.

Would audiobooks be cheating? I listen to them while jogging quite a lot.

2. I live in the UK so I’m on GMT
3. Would rather not be Captain, but will help out if pushed.

Thanks for organising this.

message 12: by Perks Moderator, Know-it-all (new)

message 42: by Karen ⊰✿, Avaricious Reader (new)

Karen ⊰✿ | 3767 comments Thanks Emma :)
We have a few people that will step up if needed, so we will try and have them as co-captains to those who are captains.
I don't think being a captain will be difficult, and for those who like to be organised and work on puzzles it is a lot of fun to be the captain and work out which books can go to where.
We will set up a separate captains group where you can get support and ask questions and support each other too :)
