The other topic was getting rather long.

Tell us what you're reading and your experience with what you've just read!

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) | 9 comments I am now reading Brenda Novak's The Heart of Christmas (Whiskey Creek, #7) by Brenda Novak and listening to Daisy Miller by Henry James .

I'm reading One Kick (Kick Lannigan, #1) by Chelsea Cain & am completely hooked. Cain was a new to me author when I started her series: Archie Sheridan & Gretchen Lowell. She is quickly becoming a fav author for the intensity of her books. I swear my heart races through every one.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) | 9 comments I have One Kick on my list! Can't wait to read it now.

message 7: by Sheri (new)

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments I bought one kick but have not gotten to it yet.

I finished One Kick (Kick Lannigan, #1) by Chelsea Cain - just couldn't stop reading. Cain evokes such raw emotion as she tackles some tough issues. I love the intensity of her plots & characters. I may like this series even better than her Archie & Gretchen series. Cain is def on my must-read list. There's nothing typical about her books.

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments I guess I am going to have to dig my book out to read it.

It's a bit on the dark side but I love those kinds of reads. It is not as dark as her A&G series however, imo.

The Night Circus is one I want to get to. And Outlander on audio is wonderful!

message 13: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) I read 1/2 of it last night! It's wonderful. I'd been meaning to get to it, too. I was just lucky the GoodReads Choice Award Book Club is reading it this month and gave me an excuse.

I really like the narrator for Outlander too.

The "bang" never stops, Quynh. Unique book, good characters, start of what looks like a great series.

Elle Rush (ellerush) | 28 comments I'm well into Treasure of Khan (Dirk Pitt, #19) by Clive Cussler and have two more of Cussler's books at the top of my "to-read" pile. His books are always OTT when it comes to plot but he writes the action so well I don't really mind.

One of these days I'll read one of his books.
