I also finished recently, I love her books. I am watching The White Queen on Netflix. I wish they didn't have so many Henry's, Edwards, and Katherine's then, I had to make my own chart to keep these people and events in some kind of order.

I've been doing lots of reading centered in Europe lately. It's time to travel somewhere else. I decided to try Shanghai Girls. I'm still reading this month's group read Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman

I have often felt they weren't very original with names back then, it can be cinfusing at times. I like your chart idea.

I found Dissolution to be a little slow but the next books in the series are fantastic!

On the other hand, there's so many books out there that I want to read that are long (600+ pages), that I just have to buckle down and read or I'll never know what I've missed!

And am still wading through "The Screwtape Letters," which is fun philosophy. No need to rush through C.S. Lewis.

Looking forward to your comments. I know Plaidy is a favorite of many, but I haven't read any of her books.

I loved that too. I went right to the bookstore when I finished it and bought the second novel in the series.

I am reading A Constellation of Vital Phenomena --- I love the writing style! It's about a small village in Chechnya.

My idea with the Lady Jane book is to read from one of my favourite periods in history, the Tudors, without touching on Catherine of Aragon or Anne Boleyn. So many books I've read of this period focus on the first two queens of Henry VIII and the others only get a brief mention. I'd love to know more about Anne of Cleves and Jane Seymour, etc.

I understand completely. I've already put the next book on hold at the library!

It was pretty good, I liked it. I have not read anything focused on Katharine of Aragon & Henry VIII time together.
I enjoyed Katharine's part in this book. I gave it 3's
