HEY GUYS! It's January and we're pumped to be reading the first book in the MISTBORN trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, THE FINAL EMPIRE. It's our first Brandon Sanderson book and we're all excited to be reading it with you guys! We've heard nothing but good things about his books and we're pumped to dive into THE FINAL EMPIRE!

Yay! I'm so glad you guys chose this book because I finished the trilogy about a month ago and I LOVED it and would love to discuss it and watch the live show :D

I'm so excited about this month. More because I love that Mistborn is gonna get a whole bunch more fans! It is really an amazing series! I may or may not reread for this, but I'll definitely be joining the discussion! Hope you guys love the book as well as the whole trilogy! It's epic!

This is great I've been staring at it and keep saying I'll read it, but I've been putting it off.

I'm ridiculously excited for everyone to love this book (trilogy) as much as I did. It's definitely my favourite fantasy series.

Hmm I just bought this during the Book Outlet boxing day sale, and it just arrived on Monday. I wasn't going to read it this month, but it almost seems like it's meant to be :) It does sound awesome!

I'm so excited!!!! I have wanted to read this book since Reagan first mentioned it on her channel. I finally got this series in the beautiful UK editions for Christmas! Can't wait to see what this book is all about :)

I am another person who bought this during the boxing day sale on Book Outlet. I can't wait for it to get here. I have been wanting to do a Booksplosion read but nothing has interested me or if it did I didn't have the book and my local library sucks.

I've been wanting to read Brandon Sanderson for almost a year and I'm super excited to get into this. Already read the first chapter and I'd say things are off to a good start.

First two chapters are kind of slow, but once chapter 3 comes along I think you'll like it! I'm not far, but I'm really into it now.

I was a bit late to the game as well. My book hasn't come in the mail yet, and I still have to finish the one I'm currently reading. Hopefully there will be some other people who will also be joining in late!

A booksplosion book I don't need to read. This is great. This is the second of Brandon Sanderson's books I've read, and it's just as magical as Elantris, which is still one of my personal favourites.

I'm just starting The Final Empire, I hope I can finish it on time! I've heard great things about this book. I'm so excited.

Elantris was my first Sanderson, too. I love it so much (like every book by him ^^)

I am SO SO happy I found this thread, I just started reading part 2 of book 1!

I started this the other day and was enjoying it but then kept putting it down unfortunately. Now though I feel like I am going to fly through it! It's a really easy read and I'm glad I found this group. I can comment on the Part One thread soon and am really looking forward to seeing what everyone else thinks so far.

This has nothing to do with Mistborn but, if I may, I would like to make a request for a future book-of-the-month since the movie comes out this year--Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith. Any thoughts?

I just got the e-book version and I'm so pumped to read this! I know I'm a little late, but there are still eight days left so I thought what the heck, I can finish in eight days right? So here we go!

I hope I can read this book before January ends. I still need to finish The Young Elites by Marie Lu.

I think I'm going to try reading it from now until saturday so I can join in and watch the live show... I've been meaning to read this series forever! And I've also never heard anything but good things, but trying to keep my expectations non-existent :)

Glad to be a part of this. Enjoying Mistborn but think I may struggle to finish the book by January 31st.
