Aster is a human turned into a fair folk. What were the consequences of her choices? Do you think she regrets the decision?

Amy Strohmer-Wood | 2 comments Poor Aster. I am relistening to this book again (read a few years ago) and I just finished that part. She drank from the Green Well and lost herself and her passion (writing). She cannot even remember the name of what gave her purpose as a mortal (writing). Isobel does not want that to happen to her.

Katelin | 33 comments I felt so horrible for Aster too! It's such a cruel fate. To achieve such status at ypur craft that they offer immortality only to lose what she loved and valued so much. That alone was horrific to me, but then she couldn't even remember her achievements.

Lacey (libqueen10) | 29 comments Yes, I felt very sorry for Aster. Not only do I believe that she regrets her decision, but I believe she is ashamed to admit it to her own kind. However, I was happy when she used that regret to help out Isobel in the end rather than letting the worst happen to her.
