Rosemarie | 293 comments I'm reading a book set in Mauritius called The Last Brother by Nathacha Appanah. It was published in French in 2007 and was translated into English in 2010.
I'm very impressed so far.

Gail (gailifer) | 246 comments The Last Brother sounds good. I noticed that Tan Twang Eng, the author of The Garden of Evening Mists has a newly published book out called: The House of Doors if you haven't read something for Malaysia.
Also I am currently reading: Texaco which is about Martinique and so far it is a fabulous book.
