1. Introduce yourself to your team. Let your team members know where you are from. This is a great to know when themes are announced and when team-mates can expect other members to post their book choices.

2. Jedi - reserve a couple of posts in this thread tracking your team's book selection and completion. (Alternatively they could convert a chat comment to the tracking post/s.)

3. Name your team. Using this round's theme of Disney+, come up with a team name. We are an open/public group with no age limit, so please make sure any chosen name is smart, not smutty ;)

Please PM your name to Jane(PS) by early Wednesday 4 September.

4. If you have a private profile, please 'friend' your team-mates. This is really important, because without this, your team-mates can't see your shelves to select a books under option 2.

5. Please post your book selections/completions in the format provided below. (This format is also posted in both the Q&A and Sign-Up threads.) We need to know the week that each book corresponds to, the page numbers, and how the book qualifies including names to lists/shelves (where applicable), etc. I can't stress this enough. When in doubt - link it*!

* don't link to your review in your completion post - reviews in your completion posts should be included in full within that post.

You don't want to start reading a book and then find it doesn't meet the requirements because some information (eg page count or theme link) was missing from your original post.

I will be monitoring this and your book will not be considered complete until I am satisfied that your selection and completion posts comply with the format rules of the challenge.

Remember - you can ONLY change your book selection in the week that the theme is called.

6. You MUST check in with your team each week, ideally once the theme is announced. Please let your team know if you expect to have spotty communication or are on holidays or having an operation.

7. When you post the completion of your book, you must post a review; enough for us to know you have actually read the book. Please don't link to a review. You must post the review in this thread.

8. Re-reads are allowed but you can't read the same book twice within this challenge.

9. There is no prize for the winning team - bragging rights only :)

10. Each week, the theme will be announced in the Q&A Annoucement thread. The full list of themes announced during this round will be maintained in msg 1 of that thread.


The Rule on the Pass Option
* Each team can only have ONE member using their pass each week.
* Each member can only use that pass once each 5 weeks.
* This means that one or two team members (dependent upon the size of your team) will miss using a pass in each 5 week block.
* No-one can use the pass option in the last week of the challenge.
* In the final week if Option 2 is used, members must select their book from another team. This will be advised in the week 11 announcement.

Hey team! I am a huge fan of disney so this theme is perfect for me and its my second round on this challenge. I had a lot of fun last time and look forward to the challenge, hope will all enjoy and find some amazing books to read.

When it comes to reading i like a variety of genres, however always need at least a little romance and i do love fantasy/other worlds a lot. Also im in England so depending on time themes can be announced late where i am, although im a night owl so will often be around to check in.

I start back in work 1st September for first time since lockdown, so may be busy at times but this will be a nice distraction and love to have a chat - feel free to talk about anything. Very aware the situation is different all over the world, so stay safe out there and lets read wonderful stories 😊

Hi team! I'm super excited to play this round :)
I'm from NY.....it's been a hot and mostly sunny summer- no complaints! Well, except for the lock-down, isolating and distancing we have all been doing for so long now.

I love reading romance and my favorite is Contemporary. My least favorite is rom-suspense but I'm open to reading most any sub-genre of romance. A meet-cute, insta-love, stranded in a cabin, geeky/nerdy character or funny romance all make me happy!

There's something I love about every Disney princess. Of course I've said before Belle is my favorite princess & Disney movie along with Fox & The Hound or Lady d the Tramp. But favorite character of all would have to be Charlotte La Bouff in Princess & the Frog.

Ivw been in challenges with most of you before & I read mostly from either HR, PNR, Dark Romance or Romantic Suspense.

Great choices, fox & the hound gives me all of the feels i cry every time. Also reminded of my love for lady & the tramp, watched the live action recently and its so sweet! Oh i adore Charlotte too i always wished she got her own film, princess & the frog is so underrated.

I really enjoy Anastasia & the baker in the cinderalla sequel, he is probably a favorite character of mine. So sweet and all the cute romance, wholesome vibes.

Oh and i adore Enchanted!

I have to throw my hat in with the Belle FanClub. I love the whole story, especially that she is one of the few Disney heroines who isn't waiting around for a prince to save her. Instead, she saves the prince! Absolutely the best part. So yeah, my pick is for Belle's Book Babes.

I love this challenge, have played several times now. I'm a die-hard fan of Romance, in all its various sub-genres, including MM. I also love Fantasy, and I'm really looking forward to getting to read some new authors. I've been spending some time the last few days adding books that I want to read to the lists, which has been really fun.

Oh, I forgot to say where I'm located--I live in California, up north by Oregon. Thankfully we're far enough away from the fires so far.

Anyway, I can't wait for us to get started! We're going to have so much fun! 😃

I completely agree Alicia, i just adore Belle as a character and her story is so wonderful. She gets to be the hero of her own story and aave the prince. I am a huge fan of the Beast too so yeah, beauty & the beast tale is a favourite of mine. Give me all the Retellings i love it!

Agreed Amy Adams was perfect for Giselle! Tbh i loved the whole cast and always wish they made sequel, i really liked that Nancy went with Edward to Andelesia in end as well it was sweet. Im always for a happily ever after, love the animated scenes a lot 💕

The only thing I have against Belle's Book Babes is one team has already been named All Beauties no beast

Thats fair enough, i did notice that but i adore Belle so didnt care too much. While im not keen on Minnie Skirts at all, i can live with it if others prefer that.
