Synopsis: Equality is assigned the job of being a street sweeper, not what he wanted. He meets Liberty who he names “The Golden One.� They build a strong relationship. Equality discovers electricity in an underground place. Then, he is imprisoned after being questioned by his fellow street sweepers. He refuses to answer and then escapes. Eventually, Equality builds the courage to present his discovery to the scholars. They are not pleased and desire for Equality to be punished. He then runs into the forbidden woods where he meets The Golden One who followed him. In the forest they eventually find a house to live in. They find new books to teach them. Equality gives them news names of “Prometheus� for himself and “Gaea� for The Golden One. He also learns about the word “I� which is now used to talk about himself instead of “we.� They now have a stronger identity and live freely in the woods together.
