Rory was Mrs. McClintok’s uncle; her mother, Katherine, was his sister. The Thompson family’s real last name is MacTavish. Rory was the Ninth Earl of Taviston. Payden is now the Tenth Earl of Taviston. James is the son of Rory’s youngest sister, Maeve, who died when he was a baby. He was raised by Rory and Cullodena.
Rory’s father had an illegitimate son named Cameron Plowman who is now trying to lay claim to his title. He is deadly.
Elspeth was kidnapped and roughed up pretty badly. She was almost raped but killed her attacker.
