Recently I read a few small press translated books which were too good. And they were not publicized much ..So thinking of reading more of them....

P.S- My mistake, need to change from 5 years to 10 years.
😑😐

thank you:)
ASOIAF are massive... maybe we can do some BR's"
Yes! Quite huge they are!
I'd love to do a BR
Do ping me whenever you plan on starting it :)

Sure Makrand 🙂

Imagine if you do finish the ASOIAF series[upto the current one], GRRM takes another 10+ Years to finish the series by which time you may have forgotten the story line and have to re-read it again...
[I do like re-reading novels but not ones which are filled with excessive amounts of information]

:P

Ah, the pain. Cosmere, Dresden Files, ASOIAF... I hate it!
Nowadays i try to restrain myself from starting a new series. But in case of ASOIAF, at least know one kind of outcome (which i hated). So even if he decides to ditch the idea of ever putting out more books, am okay with it. 😊

I just saw Dublin Murder Squad there, good luck with that. I am reading the final book, its a good series. Very consistent throughout all the books.

Yet to start Dublin Murder Squad. Saving it for next year!

Yes, I have read Joe Abercrombie...
The The First Law which were really good...
Then I tried Best Served Cold which is continuation of the series but didnt click with me..
And Dublin Murder Squad, I read the first book long ago and liked it so planning to finish it. I like Tracy Crosswhite series by Robert Dugoni, which is similar but same main character ....

Yes, the list is big...
I am yet to read Cosmere, Malazan Book of Fallen, The wheel of time ... i think I am keeping them for my retirement ( If I make it till there :P)
Now a days I am afraid to try out Fantasy, most of the new books are bland or maybe I have outgrown those types.. no idea.. So going with more of Fiction, Thriller, Mysteries even non fiction... :(

Better read something that is finished. And i totally agree new fantasy is not very good. It feels like everything good has been read and anything new just doesn't as great. :( But once in a while something comes out and wins over most people. Hope we will get something like that soon.
