David Lewis (dlewis1498) | 13 comments I understand the format of the group, but I'm not really sure how to get "into" this. I could prepare review copies for random people, but I am more interested in a review exchange with someone who writes similar material.

I've written a science fiction book, post-apocolyptic. There are humorous elements, or so I like to think. I like most anything fantastical, "out there", etc. If someone thinks we'd "match up", I think we'd be a lot better than either of us having random reviews.

Is anyone interested in that type of thing?

David Lewis (dlewis1498) | 13 comments I'd be happy to send you a copy by email. You pick the format. Are you okay with reading things on a screen? It's also on Amazon Kindle Owner Lender's Library and Select, so you can get it free there if you have those.

I have free printing, so I could send you a real copy, but I live in Hawai'i. Basically, it'll take a second.

How would I get my hands on one of yours?

Tom Hiley (TomHiley) | 5 comments if you want to email me a pdf at [email protected], that would be great. i have 2 books that fall into the sci-fi category, however, they are not traditional science fiction by any means, they are a cross between sci-fi satire and magic realism. one is called The Garden, and the other is called Blood Money, they are both available for free pdf download from my website at , or for $1 in eBook format from amazon, i will warn you in advance though, both of the books take place in El Paso, Texas, and all dialogue is written in phonetic Texas drawl, so if you find it a chore to read, I won't take it personally if you tap out.

David Lewis (dlewis1498) | 13 comments There are some accented characters in my book as well. Besides, I grew up in West Virginia. I've heard my fair share of drawls.

Just want to say, I'm pretty excited about this. No lie, I've been meaning to read more books categorized as "magical realism." I'll email you in a second.

David Laing | 15 comments I have a post-apocalyptic novel, Beautyworld. You can have a look inside at:

If it looks interesting, I'd consider a swap for reviews.

David Lewis (dlewis1498) | 13 comments Wow, that sounds perfect, David. I'm reading one of Tom's right now. I should finish tomorrow. I'd love to get into a post-apocalyptic, and one by another David, that's even better.

I'll get to you on Monday at the latest, probably tomorrow night.

David Laing | 15 comments David, please be sure to check the product page first to see if you're comfortable with the writing style, which some have called "idiosyncratic." Tx. David

David Lewis (dlewis1498) | 13 comments I understand, David. Sorry for the delay though. I got caught up in some stuff. I checked out the book, and I feel like I could sit in the yard reading this. I'll email you shortly.

As a side note, I enjoyed Tom's book and recommend that anyone reading this check it out. It might not be your flavor, necessarily, but it's interesting none the less.

David | 2 comments Hi I'd be keen to review your book - my book is about a zombie apocalypse in London

Please email me if you'd be interested - [email protected]

David Lewis (dlewis1498) | 13 comments Sounds good. Right now, I'm reading a book called Survivor by Saffron Bryant (another Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ author). I'll get back to you when I'm finished with that one.

I like the strong David to Not-David ration of this thread. (No offense to Tom.)

message 14: by David (new)

David | 2 comments Totally agree about the David ratio!

David Laing | 15 comments Me, too!

Rashid Ahmed (kaputnik77) | 2 comments Hi,

Trust you're all well. Would love to read and review a few of your books. :)

My recently published book Framandi Alliance is a full length hard science fiction first contact space adventure, narrated from the perspective of an evolving third generation AI. There's a video trailer and free preview . Please let me know if any of you'd be keen on an eBook read and review swap.
