Hi Everyone!

This folder is for buddy reads!! The way this works is that if someone wants to read a book that is not chosen for BotM, you suggest it in this thread. Then, if other members want to read with you they can agree to a buddy read. You choose a date, start a new thread in this Buddy Reads folder for the book and discuss! Make sure you add the title of your book and a date to your thread so others that want to join the discussion know when you're reading.

I think the first book I’m picking up this year will be Nomadland by Jessica Bruder. If anyone else is interested you’re welcome to join!

anyone interested in buddy reading A Little Life ?
I am finding it quite difficult to begin reading it as I know it's meant to be a depressing book ( yes I know , I am a coward).
it would be lovely to have someone buddy read with me as it's encouraging!

I feel like this book is a good fit for a lot of people in this group, so I want to put this out there. I plan to read The Princes of Ireland by Edward Rutherfurd. It was also released as Dublin: Foundation. It's an epic historical fiction taking place over hundreds of years in Ireland. I haven't read anything by this author yet but it seems to be similar to James A. Michener. I wanted to be reading it for St Patricks Day. It's a long one. Let me know if there's any interest!

Hi, Viana! The Lost Apothecary is in our poll for group read in May and is ahead by a lot. I expect that it will be our group read, so there will be a thread open for it for discussion in just a few days.

I have read #1,2,3 and have not made it to this one yet but from what I understand it can be read with or without the trilogy.
