OMG so much has happen!! i know i am a little ahead but i couldn't stop lol.

First i love Rafe and i am pretty sure he is the prince! I still don't know how i feel about Kaden!

Also i couldn't stop crying about Walther's wife! that is so sad!! :(

I have to say i am a little disappointed that there hasn't really been any Magic or fantasy elements!

While this has been a somewhat slow read for me I'm enjoying it. I've finely gotten caught up on today's reading where tonight I will be a day ahead! I'm so sad for Walther ( I kind of like that name). I still can't tell who is who either, I bet it will be reveled in the end. Story could go any number of ways. Book 2 comes out in July and right before my birthday too!!

Are all the "gifts" of the first daughters the same or different? Not quite sure what the "gift" is.

Okay, now I am more confused. I thought Rafe was definitely the assassin and Kaden was the prince. Is that wrong?! LOL, please someone verify! haha

I am a bit confused about the magic/fantasy elements of the first daughters as well - I'm not sure what it is and whether or not it's the same for every woman.

Other than that, I am enjoying the story... I have a bunch of different theories about where the story is going to end up and head into the next book. Do you guys think it might be the case where she ends up going back home and marrying the prince and falls in love with him equally as much as the assassin? Hmmmmmm

I believe Lia's gift is hearing voices. It will become clear who is who if you keep reading.

I definitely think that could be a theory for the end Shannon! I feel like she may feel she has to do that to save her kingdom, but it will possibly be the wrong choice? Or an all-out war will start...hmmm...not sure.

And I agree that's it's quite a slow read, but things do seem to be picking up at this point - I think I'm ready to be out of Terravin now and explore something new! Or at least some different action, but I am enjoying it overall :)

Okay I kept reading a couple chapters and was flabbergasted! I am now going back and skimming the entire book because I had it all twisted lol
