For the week of Feb. 14-20.

This week I read 3 books towards the challenge:

1. Girl A by Abigail Dean for the book on my TBR with the ugliest cover. I'm not sure it's the ugliest on my entire TBR, but I don't care for it. Story was pretty disappointing, too. :(

2. The Burning Girls by C.J. Tudor for the book published in 2021 prompt.

3. Do No Harm by Christina McDonald for a book about a social justice issue. It deals with the opioid epidemic. 5/5 stars. So far, this is my favorite book of the year.

I got 5 books read this week! I caught up and am now 1 book ahead of my good reads challenge schedule.

1. I finished ‘A Court of Wings and Ruin� by Sarah J Maas, which is the 3rd book in the ACOTAR series.

2. I read ‘A Court of Frost and Starlight� by Sarah J Maas, which is book 3.1 in the ACOTAR series, and sets up for book 4.

3. I read ‘A Court of Silver Flames� by Sarah J Maas, which is book 4 in the ACOTAR series. It just came out Tuesday so I used it for a book published in 2021 and it was really good overall!

4. I read ‘Beasts and Beauty� by A. Lonergan, which is the second book in this series and is a beauty and the beast retelling. I also enjoyed this overall and recommend!

5. I finally finished ‘The Wicked King� by Holly Black, this is the second book in The Folk of the Air, and was also pretty goood. Huge plot twist at the end though!

Over the past few days I have finished 3 books for the challenge and have started 2 more.

..Zapped for book title starts with Q, X or Z (absolutely would not recommend)
..Just Mercy for free book on TBR list
Currently reading:
..On the Clock for DNF on TBR list
..The Hunting Party for locked-room mystery.

My goal is 40 books and I have currently finished 14.
