Duration: 6 months

For this challenge all you have to do is read 40 books in six months. The amount of books that have to be read per genre is flexible but you must read at least one book per genre.


Although untrue some events, people, and places may even be real - 4 Books

Paranormal stories are set in the real world, the world as we know it with the beings from the paranormal world, such as vampires, shapeshifters, fairies, elves, witches, demons, mediums - 4 Books

Fiction about a committed crime, how the criminal gets caught, and the repercussions of the crime - 4 Books

A subgenre of science fiction that is concerned with the end of human civilization, typically portrayed as being due to a potential catastrophe - 4 Books

A story with fictional characters and events in a historical setting - 4 Books

A subgenre of fantasy fiction defined either by the epic stature of its characters, themes and plot - 4 Books

A genre of fiction that uses magic and other supernatural phenomenon with imaginary worlds where magic and magical creatures are common to create plot, theme or setting - 4 Books

A genre or mode of literature that combines fiction, horror and romance. They have set character traits such as the Virgin Maid and the villain, the weather is dark and moody - 4 Books

A fictional thriller story which emphasizes the psychology of its characters and their unstable emotional states - 4 Books

Are intended to, or have the capacity to frighten, scare, or startle their readers by inducing feelings of horror and terror. It often overlaps science fiction or fantasy, all three of which categories are sometimes placed under the classification speculative fiction - 4 Books
