"Border Collies are generally considered to be one of the smartest, if not the smartest, of all dog breeds. Indeed, this year marked the passing of a Border Collie often described as the smartest of all time a pooch named Chaser who knew the names of more than 1,000 dog toys."

Phew I am sneaking in with 10 minutes to go before midnight on 30/04/2021
My Dog was The Basset Hound
These are the facts on the first link
33. Basset Hound
1. These beloved dogs, with their low noses to the ground, have an excellent sense of smell and were used often to hunt when originally bred in France.
2. The AKC finds Basset Hounds to be one of the most popular pet breeds, especially because they are very social, peaceful and good-natured, albeit sometimes a little stubborn.
3. Top 3 Countries for Basset Hounds: Denmark, Sweden, United States
I read The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye 30/04/2021 431 pages
I think this fits because
a) set in Sweden and written by a Swedish Author
2. Lisbeth Salander - MC - whilst is no means a social character she is known for her stubbornness and determination to hunt down the truth
I loved the first 3 books written by Steig Larsson but am not as convinced by the continuation by David Lagercrantz
I gave the last one 4 stars but I have a feeling i was erring on the side of generosity. This one really did not do it for me. Some of it read like non fiction genetic research and the rest failed to tickle my thriller bone.
I don't think Lagercrantz has the same knack of pulling threads together as the original author.
I do think it is a series that can run forever, in fact book 6 is already published but it is not one i will continue

Thank you :) I figure pulling off a book that big, I had to try for all the points I could lol
And, it was good, and I have no idea why it has taken..."
It was a few years back that I read it. Wasn't there a parade or outdoor celebration (party) where someone was taking pictures. It was a good book judging from the fact that I still remember some of it.

For some reason, I remember quite a bit about this book. Yet other things are not so good. I went to unload the dishwasher tonight and was mystified as to why the dish was dirty. I realized that I had put the soap pod into the holder, closed the door, and forgot to turn it on.

I created a wall for Emma. You will find it here.

Love the poor little glue stick pup! Thanks, Janice!
