Then, as I started to dictate my response, a lot of what I was saying seemed strangely familiar. Not that I don't have my share of what we refer to around here as "senior moments", but in this case it wasn't just déjà vu (or déjà écrit :)
What SF/F Releases are you Looking Forward to in 2015?
I decided to expand my entry there, instead, since that thread is already longer.

a natural history of autumn by Jeffrey Ford - his latest short story collection - also some of his books are available for the first time digitally so can get his The Cosmology Of The Wider World without having to pay big money for a second hand copy
Get in Trouble by Kelly Link her latest short story collection - I tend to be a bit on the fence about her- but some of her stuff I have really enjoyed and I am certainly intrigued enough that I will pick this up and at least make a start on reading it.
Ken Liu - The Paper Menagerie - short story collection - I have only read a couple of his stories and really I should have read many more - not sure if I will get this collection or just use this as a suggestion of which of his free online stories to give a try to. I very probably will check out his debut novel The Grace of Kings
Brian Selznick - The Marvels - know next to nothing about this but loved the innovative and satisfying "is it a graphic novel or if not what is it?" previous two books he wrote/illustrated. Probably not genre but still exciting.
Justine Larbalestier - Razorhurst - Ok a little on the fence about this one - her Magic Trilogy was wonderful but I abandoned How To Ditch Your Fairy as I just wasnt enjoying it. Still she comes up with some interesting concepts and writes them well so am very tempted to give this a try when it comes out.
The Daughters of Moab this never received a UK/US release although it was published a few years a go. I am hoping that by hastling publishers etc. I can get an ebook version. Very Much TBC but from dipping into the sample I could get from Australian websites I do very much want to read this.
Armada I did get a lot of enjoyment out of Ready Player One even if I didnt think the language or pacing were spot on it did get me smiling quite a bit so I will certainly give this one a try although the plot just sounds like a rehash of the Last Starfighter film
Best of Caitlin Kiernan Volume 2 - Its Sub Press so it all depends on whether I can get a UK copy at a reasonable price but it would be a great volume to have. If not then many of the stories due to be in that volume are available free online so I will at least read those.
Then there are some Kickstarters I have backed so will enjoy reading those too!
