Our July Challenge is the “Time Travel� Challenge!
It is an idividual challenge, and its duration is from July 1st to July 31st. Please read the description carefully before you join.
RULES:
1.Each book must be 100 pages or more to be counted.
2.Each book can fit only one prompt, but each prompt can be used more than once.
3.The prompts can be used in any order and you can complete as many as you want.
How to Pledge your books:
On your Challenge page , you will pledge your books (and points) like that:

Prompt No. : (the number of the prompt, e.g. 3)

Before 1000 AD
1.Read a book originally published before 1000 AD.
2.Read a book by an author who was born before 1000 AD.
3.Read a book that takes place before 1000 AD.
1000 - 1200 AD
4.Read a book originally published between 1000 and 1200 AD.
5.Read a book by an author who was born between 1000 and 1200 AD
6.Read a book that takes place between 1000 and 120 AD.
1200 - 1400 AD
7.Read a book originally published between 1200 and 1400 AD.
8.Read a book by an author who was born between 1200 and 1400 AD
9.Read a book that takes place between 1200 and 1400 AD.
1400 - 1600 AD
10.Read a book originally published between 1400 and 1600 AD.
11.Read a book by an author who was born between 1400 and 1600 AD
12.Read a book that takes place between 1400 and 1600 AD.
1600 - 1800 AD
13.Read a book originally published between 1600 and 1800 AD.

24.Read a book with a sequel that haven’t been published yet.
(as you noticed, the prompts changed in the future, as it is impossible to read a book that hasn’t been published yet, or by an author who hasn’t been born yet)
Extra prompts
25.Read a time travel book.
26.Re-read an old favorite to take you back in time.
27.Read a book, that doesn’t mention in which period of time it is taking place.
SCORING:
1.Each prompt earns 2 points.
2.If you write a review you get 2 extra points. (Please note that 2 lines reviews don’t count as reviews)
3.If you read our any of our group’s BOTM you get 5 points extra, whether it fits any prompt or not.
4.If it is a buddy read in our group, you get 2 extra points.
5.Page Count Scoring (counts after 300 pages):
300 pages - 1 point
350 pages - 2 points
400 pages - 3 points
450 pages - 4 points
500 pages - 5 points
And so on�
6. If you complete all the propmts of a category (e.g. if you complete all the prompts of 2000 till now category, you get extra 5 points!)
