What are you currently reading?
I'm currently reading the Dark Protectors series by Rebecca Zanetti. I love this series! I am, also, listening to the Edge series by Ilona Andrews. I just started this one so I am not sure if I like it yet or not.

Just never felt a sense of urgency in anything the characters were going through.
This has been a slow reading month for me, but I'm currently listening to Circe

I feel the same way about the Edge series, it just doesn't seem very exciting but I like the characters. I really loved the InnKeeper Chronicles and had hoped the world building would be similar since some of the characters were in both.
I am reading the last book of the Edge series. I liked the first 3 pretty well but this one is not working for me. I'm struggling to finish. I haven't tried the InnKeeper series yet. I plan to go on to the Hidden Legacy series because I see so many positive reviews about it.

I haven’t read the Innkeeper Chronicles yet but they’re on my tbr list (to be started sooner rather than later).

I plan to go o..."@Oleander - I remember liking the last book but felt it was way too long. I highly recommend Hidden Legacy. While I only read the first three and the novella that followed, they were some of my favorite reads this year. I’m watching for the next book to be released before I continue.
Just readBook 1 in Shadow and light series by kim richardson. It was just ok . I was surprised I have liked her others. I will not continue the series. Need to find myself a really good series.

I'm almost done with Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim. It reminds me of The Grave Kingdom Series from one of my favorite authors, Jeff Wheeler. I anticipate giving it a really good review.

Hello, I just recently joined this group and am excited to hear recommendations from a community interested in the same topics as me. That being said...Has anyone ever read "The Cruel Prince" by Holly Black? I keep seeing so much about it, but I am unsure if it is my type of book. What do you guys think?

First book was less than stellar, but the next 2 were really enjoyable, the last was not for me..

Opal was disappointing. I liked the first two books a lot better. The decision making by the gang was dumb, imo, so when things ended as they did, I was mostly annoyed. However, it won’t stop me from reading the next book, as I am invested.

I ended up dnf'ing at 39%. It wasn't what I was expecting but I agree that it was a hard read, from what I did complete.

i've been devouring the Veil Diaries by B.L. Brunnemer I just started book 8. I've loved them all even though i thought book 7 was weak.
I just finished From Blood and Ash by Jennifer Armintrout. I thought it had a slow start but at about 1/3 in it got really good and now I can’t wait for the next one. But I started The Maidens by Alex Michaelides because I’ve been waiting for that one for a long time :)

Green Creek by TJ Klune a fav series by a fav author.Fantastic characters, stunning writing, found family, plot and action, gorgeous romances, lots of angst but so much laugh out loud humour too.
