I've been looking for group like this for some time. I'm avid reader of C.S. Lewis, Narnia & science fiction trilogy, JRR Tolkien, the Hobbit & LoTR. Also I've read a many of Stephen Lawhead fantasy & historical fiction novels. I not sure if this applicable to this group but I've also read most of Rosemary Suttcliffe's works. I'm thoroughly enjoying the group. All the best & Blessings

Hey Mr. Barry! Blessings to you as well! You just gave me an idea with talking about Tolkien and Lewis and such... I just realized that we don't have any threads dedicated to specific fantasy books/series! Personally, I would more than love to talk about Tolkien to anyone who wants to listen and I'm sure lots of people feel the same about other various books/series. So thank you for that! Tolkien would be excellent but I'm more a Jack Lewis fan but lets do the Hobbit first as this was his first complete fantasy.

Hey everyone! I’m Julia, I’m 15 and Homeschooled. I love reading, hanging out with friends/family, hiking, and playing sports.

I can’t speak another language (sadly), but I’m trying to learn Spanish. I think I’m more of a listener then a talker but I’m a talker around the right people and when I need to be, so it sometimes depends on the situation too. I have four siblings and a crazy dog who acts like she’s never seen a person before. I’m also LOVE animals!

My favorite book is either Refugee by Alan Gratz or Words on Fire by Jennifer A. Nielsen. My favorite author is probably Jennifer A. Nielsen. I don’t think I really have a least favorite author and book though.

“One� of my favorite books in the Bible is Romans. The verse is probably John 1:5 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.�

Hi everyone!! I'm Saraina!! :)) I loooove writing, reading, and fantasy (especially S. D. Smith's The Green Ember series, Andrew Peterson's The Wingfeather Saga, Narnia, and LOTR). Some all-time favorite authors are the above along with Jocelyn Green and Elizabeth George Speare. Oh, and I love music.

Mmm, 3 fun facts... well, 1. I'm more of a listener, but I totally talk to myself a lot (quietly), 2. I'm an Enneagram 4, 3. I have a collection of quotes (oh, and I have tons of favorite words, lol, like "mellifluous" *grins*).

My favorite book in the Bible... so many lol! Right now I'll go with Romans, but I really don't have a SINGLE favorite.

Greetings from a librarian!

I hope the day you read this on is a blessed one! What's first? How about a few things about myself! I have taught in a few different countries, sing on the praise team, and love books (maybe too much, but is that really a thing???) I currently work at a middle school to create a library where students feel safe and welcomed! I know that I cannot read every book in the world, so I am hoping that joining a few groups will help me curate recommendations for my students.

I have a few life stories tucked up my sleeves (evacuating a country, the nickel x-rays, oh and don't forget Scotland), but I love hearing the stories of others! I am sure you are all lovely humans! I dearly enjoy literature, tea, and pets!

WELCOME Saraina! *waves* Wow, I've really been hearing a lot about The Wingfeather Saga... I watched their animated short film and it was so good! We've got to make that book one of our Book of the Month reads sometime! Anyway, thank you for introducing the word 'mellifluous' to me!
