Lizahra Pinky Syahrani Totto-Chan is in the same class as a child with polio, she is also in the same class with a dwarf. Although they have their own specialties, in Tomoe Gakuen they are given the confidence to not be ashamed of themselves. They are all good friends. And when the students get agricultural lessons that are to learn how to grow crops, they get lessons from a farmer and know how difficult farming is, the children also learn to respect the work of others. They are taught not to underestimate the work of others because every job has its own knowledge. So, I really appreciate and respect Mr. Kobayashi who gives a lot of social value in the novel. It shows that the principal highly values humanity. I think that's a wise thing.

Andris Wiliana I agree with you lizahra, I think the novel Totto-Chan teaches an important thing where social values can be taught since childhood, from how socializes with his friends and other people, important things such as manners, mutual respect and so on must also be applied. . and the school is a suitable place where it can be taught and applied, it is undeniable that Mr. Kobayashi's ideas on the role of the principal as the most influential person in the school helped bridge the cultivation of good social values.

Nala Erina I also really appreciate with the students in Tomoe Gakuen, even though they are still in Elementary School they didn't compare and stay away from the friends which has a differences. And I am still remember when Totto-chan asked at the first time to Yasuaki-chan why is he walking weird? and he said that he had a polio in his legs and arms, and from that their friendship started. When I read it oh my god I was impresed with their social value.

Noval That's right, I also feel that this novel has a very big impact on social values. What Mr. Kobayashi did was also very right because it gave lessons about social values. Children are also taught about respect for others. In addition, I also strongly agree that even though they are still at the kindergarten level, they have been given knowledge that is very helpful later when they are adults.

Zahro Ainun I also really appreciate the students at Tomoe Gakuen, because there they are given a very valuable lesson because not all teachers are like Mr. Kobayashi can provide lessons that are very attached to moral values that we should apply.
Because not all students can do that without guidance from an understanding teacher like in Tomo Gakeun. And the teacher there is very helpful if the students have difficulties in the learning they are doing. So every learning there does not only follow the curriculum that has been implemented like in our country, so students can learn more comfortably

Salsabila Mutiara So true. This book has written a lot about social values. As you wrote, Even if there are students who have polio or there are students who are not very fluent in Japanese, they are still friends and still respect each other. There are times when a student is asked to tell a story, and it takes a long time for him to tell the story. The other students patiently waited for the student to tell the story, and they didn't ridicule him for thinking too long while telling the story. Mr. Kobayashi also helped him to tell the story by asking some simple questions.
