Hey! So, I saw the announcment and I totally understand why there can only be two talents. But in the Books (other than Sophie) people who were Polyglots usually also had one-two more talents. So, if an oc is let's say a polyglot and a telepath, would it be okay if their also a technopath? Polyglots normally don't get over three talents, so that would be the limit for them.

Could someone approve my character please? I'm excited to RP kotlc!

@Urania - I understand what you mean, polygots are more likely to have two abilities, but the chance of having even two abilities is still so low that characters having three abilities is practically impossible unless they underwent some sort of genetic engineering. (From my understanding of the series)
The way things work is fairly up-to-interpretation, because of how we aren't really given examples of characters that aren't.. extraordinary. This is the type of topic that could do well in a debate, but we'd rather keep it this way for now. Sorry! I don't want to get into the territory of exceptions because it gets super personal really quickly, and then it's like there's no reason to even have the rule. Thank you for understanding! :D

@Arianna Sorry, I've been meaning to get to looking over characters but I haven't been able to yet because I wanted to take care of this first. I'll try and post it sometime today, though it will probably end up being late evening because I'm going somewhere

@Wren - Thank you for being patient! The roleplay takes place as if Sophie and her friends never existed - there might have been similar figures to them, but the canon characters aren't really part of the group to avoid disputes over things like interpretations of characters and the people related to them :)

No, because the names aren't even in this RP. You may steal the appearance of any of the canon characters tho!

Uhm�� May I ask why you have to have at least 4 sentences of history/personality?

I do a lot of rp and I know it can be hard to know beforehand a lot about a characters personality. Or if I end up writing a whole paragraph about their personality it often feels like when I later rp them they turn out differently. For personality, often I don’t think much of writing that much, instead of I do think beforehand of a personality I do maybe one sentence with just some short adjectives (eg. Kind, sweet, gentle, caring, smart, nerdy, loving).

And for the history, it is in the elvin world meaning it’s hard to think of a big history. Not many people are actually twins/talentless and though those who are struggle with it it takes probably only like�� one sentence to explain that they have a twin and are looked down on because of that. Or that they are talentless and bullied because of that. Not many people were sent to exile for that reason, and the elvin world does have its cracks but most people do believe the councils lies�� meaning that most people live rather peacefully and normally and don’t really think of any of the societies cracks.

So we as mods can understand who the character is and if they'll work in the group. Cause some people come in and are like "born in the human world and parents were murdered, and she's lonely and has 9 powers and gets sent to-" blah blah blah. But yeah, it's just to make sure the character is cool :D

1. No, we put a limit on it because it's a rare power and can be abused in rp.
2. Yes, they can have up to 2 I think, I would have to recheck. (Used to be 4 but it got chaotic.)
3. We have no specified age limit, however I would like to keep it between 0-150.
4. You can create as many as you can handle and try to keep active, as long as they are all approved.
5. Of course! That would be fun to see.

Can you tell me the powers that are not allowed for a oc so I can make sure I don’t accidentally pout it as my oc’s.

Also May I ((sorry for too much Q)) make my father oc 150+? Usually the fathers in the series are like old old old ?(lol))

Pyrokinetics and Mesmers are the only two rn I think.
