Hi, everyone -- sorry, this is a little later going up than I intended. Please feel free to post your chosen books for January here. The cover needs to have white or dark gray in it, either or both, any amount.

I'll have to wait and see what books I actually start with to see if any have a white cover, although I am seriously looking at Futureface: A Family Mystery, an Epic Quest, and the Secret to Belonging Futureface A Family Mystery, an Epic Quest, and the Secret to Belonging by Alex Wagner by Alex Wagner as my first biography for my Jan focus so that would qualify

I just picked it up last week at the 50% off sale at our local thrift store. I enjoyed his recent book so I hope this one is good too.

Finished my first pick: Sugar Cookie Murder. I love this series but am currently talking myself out of trying the recipes because at the moment I'm trying to diet....

message 33: by Christina (new)

Christina (cmb1987) | 13 comments Finished both Until November (Until, #1) by Aurora Rose Reynolds and The Summer Children (The Collector, #3) by Dot Hutchison . I really enjoyed both of them.

Kind of wanted to slap the characters of Until November a few times but overall it was cute and made me smile. Maybe I'm feeling mushy since I'm preggo.

The Summer Children is part of a series I love, but this book was REALLY hard to read. Not because it wasn't good. But because it's about crimes against children. It was rough to get through. Still a fantastic book.

I stayed away from the sugar cookies. Of course I ate a handful of chocolate chips right out of the bag but that's a different issue.

Ha! And quicker to eat by not having to wait for the cookies to bake.

I don't know where I first saw it. Probably on Facebook in my bullet journaling group. Some are using authors' names. Others use book titles. With the hard to find letters we give ourselves leeway. So I would definitely count first name for X.
