G1: A book from your local library or recommended by a librarian

On the front page of my library website was Finding the Mother Tree: Discovering the Wisdom of the Forest. The book was already intriguing to me, having read The Hidden Life of Trees. I watched a TED talk with author Suzanne Simard and really enjoyed it. Then I saw that she will be a panelist of Canada Reads this year!

All this to say I've downloaded the audio book, and while it may take me awhile to get through it with a short commute these days, I will be using Finding the Mother Tree: Discovering the Wisdom of the Forest for this square! It's good! Especially in audio...
