The group really enjoyed reading this book and gave it 4/5 stars. We all learned a lot about the way trees communicate, and how important it is to leave woodlands to grow naturally as every habitat is important for growth and communities to develop. We enjoyed the way the trees were anthropomorphized as this made them feel more relatable despite the long timescales of their lives, however, we found some chapters frustrating where interesting things were introduced but then the author changed the subject without explaining them.
