Sorry, I didn't know. Then I nominate Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome, 185 pages. If this is something you have also read, I do apologize. The only other thing that comes to my mind is The Exorcist, but I don't think it qualifies. It was published in the 70s, if I'm not mistaken.
