Fishface | 18306 comments I am watching NO MAN OF GOD and I'm bowled over by how convincing Luke Kirby is in the role of Ted Bundy. He sneers at one point in the movie that people think he is some sort of fabulous chameleonlike creature just because he grew a beard for a while.

I also re-watch NATURAL BORN KILLERS periodically and I always smile when I see Mark Harmon playing Mickey Knox on TV, because Harmon got his big break playing Ted Bundy in THE DELIBERATE STRANGER. I'm sure Harmon got a smile out of it too.

So it occurred to me to post all of the Bundies I could find here:

Mark Harmon

Adam Long

Corin Nemec

Michael Burke

Billy Campbell

Zac Efron -- ALWAYS WITH THE DORKWAD BOWTIES!

James Marsters

Trey Parker (shown here in between the SOUTH PARK Dahmer and Gacy)

Cary Elwes, of all people

Luke Kirby

Did I miss any? Discussion? Who is your most or least favorite? I have only seen a couple of these myself...

Wait, I found another one!

Chad Michael Murray

Bill reilly | 88 comments Kirby should have won the Oscar. I have read 12 books on Bundy. Kirby was Ted.

The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule is best. Only Living Witness is good and Deliberate Stranger 3. The Documentary Falling for a Killer with ex Liz Kendall(Liz Kloepfer) is a must see. Also, a search for daughter Rose comes up with a married woman with kids in England. She will turn 40 in October.

Gee, I really wasn't that impressed with Ann Rule's book about him, maybe because I read The Only Living Witness: The True Story of Serial Sex Killer Ted Bundy first, and it was super comprehensive. But my great favorite is Ted Bundy: The Killer Next Door.

Debating whether to seek out BUNDY with Burke in the role; the actor was supposedly fantastic but the movie was generally panned. I saw where it was called "the BOOGIE NIGHTS of serial killer flicks" which doesn't sound too encouraging LOL.

I couldn't even finish the Corin Nemec movie although I am quite a fan of his; the movie was wildly inaccurate.

Bill reilly | 88 comments Read Killer Next Door and Phantom Prince, Defending the Devil, Riverman, Conversations with a Killer, Trail of Ted Bundy, Ted and Ann, Terrible Secrets, and Cimino's book America's Most Evil... All can be downloaded from Electronic Library for free. They allow five d/ls a day without registration. I read Rule's book first in 1981 and followed everything on the Tedster ever since. I even have the Dobson interview on videocassette. Ed Kemper is my #2, Kuklinski #3. Iceman by Carlo another great read. Also, The Good Nurse on Cullen is one my ten best true crime, along with Fatal Vision, Never Enough, Homicide, Shot in the Heart, Doc, Blind Faith, Onion Field, and two by John Glatt, Perfect Father and Deadly American Beauty.

I would love to discuss more often, but I feel my efforts fall short of the calibre of those who often contribute.

Srsly? Because this is a discussion forum and without input from others what is there to discuss? I dangle conversational hooks weekly and aside from you and just a couple of others, the fish aren't biting...
