I could go back and forth on this...I'm really not sure. Luc would show up rescue Addie from situations that could be dangerous, then turn around and say that HE wanted to be the one to break her. Granted, that was early on in the book/relationship, but still. It definitely, gave Addie reason to pause.

On the flip side of this, I felt there were times Addie would actually look forward to their anniversary date and other times in the book that she missed him. The book also mentioned that at one point they had a relationship and he gave her a home in New Orleans.
