What are your thoughts on it?

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

Not appropriate for kids. A lesbian kiss and one of those lesbians getting pregnant? No.

message 3: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments Dude, saying that is like saying omg a straight kiss not appropriate for kids. Kids seeing people kiss affects them the same wether it is a straight kiss or a non straight kiss. A kiss and a kiss are the same.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

I’d rather there not be kissing at all in kids movies.

message 5: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments May I ask why?

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Kids shouldn’t be learning about love in a romantic way. They get a mangled view of love and think that dating at 7 is perfectly reasonable.

message 7: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments And how should they be learning about love?

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

Through family and friendship.

message 9: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments So you don’t think pretty much any kids movies are appropriate for kids?

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

What do you mean? There are tons of kids movies that are fine. I’m a bit of a Disney nerd and usually that’s all I watch so I don’t got much for examples, but the paw patrol movie, finding Nemo, Encanto, and the Lorax all come to mind.

message 11: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments So kids shouldn’t have examples of romantic relationships just friendships and families?

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

They should have examples of mothers and fathers, but that’s pretty much it

message 13: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments So when they want to start a romantic relationship they shouldn’t have any examples of how to do that?

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Gosh, I’m talking about kids. Like, ten and under.

message 15: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments When kids under 10 date it isn’t real dating and there is like no romance at all it’s really just for fun and doesn’t hurt them.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

But they think it’s all fine and dandy, they don’t really understand it. And what if they do kiss? Is that really something kids should do?

message 17: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments I feel like to each their own if both kids want to do it it isn’t bad and kids are naturally curious.

message 18: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments There is like no harm to kids thinking about or at least knowing about romantic relationship. Especially since kids should have an idea of what a health relationship is.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

They can know about healthy romantic relationships through their mom and dad.

message 20: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments And what if they only have one parent? Or if there parents don’t have a healthy relationship?

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Then they already know what an unhealthy relationship looks like.

message 22: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments But how do they know it is unhealthy. If all they know are unhealthy relationships their future relationships will probably also be unhealthy

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

And you think a movie will fix that?

message 24: by Abby (new)

Abby | 443 comments I’m saying giving kids multiple examples of relationships is good. There is more than just 1 type of relationship for example straight and gay.

Jeremiah (Kinda Smitten Cowboy) | 23 comments Not watching.

Jeremiah (Kinda Smitten Cowboy) | 23 comments FYI Disney is very woke.
