**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. MountainKat | 30691 comments I think most of you know each other, at least a little, but feel free to introduce yourself again. Please give any relevant information, especially time zone as that helps know when it is best to communicate. 😊

Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.

Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.

PS - If you want to be known as anything other than Loitering Layabouts, just let me know!

Donna (donnaburks61) | 1287 comments I can't sleep... grrr

OK, here are my "series" suggestions... NOT sure what we have done in the past but I have the last books out to read for them!

Cold Case Psychic by Pandora Pine

Lisa is reading Ghost of Deceit on the train home and it only has 3 books in the series so that one won't work... grrr

Last Chance is only a 3 books series so can't use that one... grrr

Love Match is the 3rd book in the series so that one won't work either... grrr

Lily Morton's The Sunny Side isn't in a series so I ended up only having ONE suggestion... *headdesk* 😭

Haha - ok. I'll go with Glen & Tyler which is an absolute hoot if you suspend RL :)

Jane (PS) | 24193 comments Kat just advised that she'll be announcing the first task early:

"probably about 3-4 hours [early] - sometime around 11 or 12 US EDT"

I'll be in bed. The first task is always one not requiring team decisions, so nothing required from me anyway :)

Hate to remind you, but the first task always requires a team decision - usually an easy one though.

Dang!! I thought it was something like "read a book with a white cover". Ah well - thanks for the heads up Kat...

***edit***

Regardless, I'll still be asleep.
So I'll leave the decision to the rest of you :)

(If the task isn't hard, there should be audio options!)

Pam (Mod in MMR) has had it for 5 weeks already. Not happy.

I've had it for a couple of weeks now and there are so many things that I still can't figure out how to get it to do what it used to do... grrr

Don't worry! We will have your "audio" needs covered!

Shannon, you are going to have to get up early, or else Lisa and I are going to be all alone for the 1st one... and you know I can be "wild and crazy"! LOL!!!

I will get my #12 recs posted just as soon as I get back from running an errand for my sister! Sorry, totally forgot to do it earlier... 🤦‍♀

Jane (PS) | 24193 comments First Task - All Teams!

0. Read a sports romance (MPG) or a book with a primarily green cover, teams decide which. No pass for this task.

With both college and pro football seasons starting, I’m sure I’m not the only one with sports on the brain! As a team, decide if you are a book with primarily green cover or a book with MPG Sports Romance. If selecting a sports romance, it can either be the generic Sports (alone or combined) or the specific sports such as football, baseball or hockey - but it MUST be MPG! If selecting books for the cover option, green must be the primary color you see on the cover to qualify. No pass for this task
