Josephine I jump around genres and everything I’ve read recently has been good, but hasn’t made me rave. What books have made you sob, scream out loud while sitting alone in your room, kept you up at night thinking, etc? A book you have to tell everyone about, even those who don’t read. Let me know!

Karin Two books novels that come to mind are All the Light We Cannot See and Ordinary Grace because they have come up recently--the latter is liked by most of my GR friends who have read it. I listened to the first one (both times) but it's also good in print. I read the other one.

Tiffani (tiff_2007) I’m obsessed with Abby Jimenez books! Real life characters, good story lines, roller coaster of emotions, romance basis.

Emily McKenzie | 1 comments And then there were none - Agatha Christie
I demolished it in one day and loved every single second of it!

Danny | 4 comments In september of last year I read The Night Diary and it got me out of a reading slump. More recently Absent got me out of a slump from earlier this year. Books that I enjoyed a loy and read very quickly. Absent is leas than 200 pages which helped me as a very slow reader.

It was not really a slump per se, but there was quite a while when I realized that I was only reading little bits or small numbers of pages at a go. This changed when I finally decided to read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. This book is long, a behemoth if you will...but by the time it hooks you, it literally is one you cannot put down. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but that is my response.

Emily Rawlings | 1 comments Honest to god the only books that will get me out of a reading slump apart from rereading are the diary of a wimpy kid books, they release new ones every so often and those books are just so genuinely funny, silly and light hearted they get me right back into reading again. Jodi Piccoult also does the trick, that woman is incredible
