As a former low-level NSA/USAF spook, I'm in a Facebook group that includes a good number of former Russian linguists. I've posted your question there and asked anyone interested to PM me.
I'll let you know if we get any response.

Hi, Rock,
Thank you so much, that's a lot more experienced than I was expecting. I appreciate it!
Sincerely,
A.C.
I have a WIP I'd like to start publishing on Kindle Vella but one of my sub-characters who's in a good portion of the book is Russian. He's been learning English from the main male lead but isn't completely fluent yet. He also uses some Russian words. I've spent many hours researching, but I'd still like to have someone with experience review just a few of his parts to make sure it's accurate. The last thing I want to do is offend anyone by having his character come off as a negative or derogatory representation.
I haven't used any phonetic spellings of his accent, I just tried to cut out the use of articles and kept his sentences shorter and to the point. Much of his dialogue is simply good-humored banter with the main character because they're close friends.
Thanks!
A.C.
