I'm starting to think maybe one of my Pearl Harbor books or something on Titanic.

Pearl Harbor: From Infamy to Greatness

Even though the 'From Infamy' book has more details, there is specifically a long chapter that talks about Pearl Harbor directly so I figure that's okay too.

Pearl Harbor is too basic. Don't get me wrong, it's an important event in history and all of that, but topic wise it would be too easy for me.

So I managed to go through my books and I discovered that I had a few books on The Little Bighorn which is right up my alley in terms of Indigenous history.

So I'm going with this one: A Terrible Glory: Custer and the Little Bighorn - the Last Great Battle of the American West

I have read two books that I love by Taylor Jenkins Reid this year, so I think I may want to read Malibu Rising for this one.

I fully intended to read Mrs Dalloway for this category, but the audiobook wasn't available today when I was looking for a new audio, so I spontaneously downloaded Album of Dr. Moreau instead, and WOW I am loving this book!! I only just started it so I guess it could become awful, but so far this looks like a five star read!!

I read Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day by Winifred Watson for this one and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I read: The Wind That Lays Waste is a short work of literary fiction written by Argentinian author Selva Almada which was nominated for the BTBA Best Translated Book Award for fiction in 2000. The story takes place over one day when a travelling reverend and his teenage daughter wait at the mechanic shop for their car to be repaired and the Reverend is inspired to convert an innocent child. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Here is my review

I read Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk

Survive the Night by Riley Sager takes place over the course of less than 24 hours. I'm counting it, even though it begins late on one calendar day and ends on the next.
It was an enjoyable read....you do have to suspend a lot of disbelief, but it's still a good thriller.

I read The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold

From the second this man spoke out against what happened on January 6th, I was hoping that he would end up writing a book and sure enough he has. His book is being released in October so it's one I'm looking forward to.

This officer who was there January 6th also has a book and I thought about reading this one, but I'll hold off. I'm more interested in Harry's book ATM.

Hold the Line: The Insurrection and One Cop's Battle for America's Soul

Unsure if this would count, but I'm thinking about it as the event took place December 19th at 10:30 pm and kind of lasted until early morning on the 20th so technically it didn't even last a full 24-hours.

I am reading The Wind That Lays Waste by Selva Alamada. I found this book on the suggested list and this works great for Hispanic Heritage Month.

The Name of the Wind

Just a warning: I read ��ǰ����ǰ�����ö��, because it was on the Listopia list and actually in my house. The main story takes place in 24 hours, but there is a short epilogue that stretches about a year into the future. As a more spirit-of-the-law kind of person, I can't find it in me to care this late in the game, but I thought I'd mention it for others who are more rule-abiding.
