15.6 Wrens and Riveters

Although their contributions are often overlooked, women were instrumental in supporting the war effort in the 1940s. The iconic image of Rosie the Riveter was inspired by women working in manufacturing in the US, and the majority of the British codebreaking force at Bletchley Park was made up of members of the Women’s Royal Naval Service (known colloquially as the Wrens).

Read a NON-FICTION book with the main page genre Feminism, Engineering, or Technology.

Trish (trishhartuk) | 3557 comments Afternoon.

Could you genre lock From Nazis to NASA for Technology for me? It's the last one on the front page, and I'm still not au fait with whether the MPGs disappear or not on the current layout.

Thanks.

Genre noted, but it's showing as fiction. The task requires non-fiction so that book won't work for this, I'm afraid.

Emurphy | 811 comments Hi! I read Paris: The Memoir which has an MPG of Feminism. It shows the MPG when I look the book up on my Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ app on my phone, but when I look on my computer, I just have to hit more... and it will show it. Is that ok?
